Ithaca, NY – New York’s agriculture community is gearing up for an exciting and educational event series this June to September. The 2023 Soil Health and Climate Resiliency Field Day Series, coordinated by the New York Soil Health Alliance and the New York Soil Health Initiative, will feature eight field days across the state. Mark your calendars for this opportunity to learn and engage with experts in the field.

“The collaboration and knowledge-sharing that take place at soil health field days are invaluable for farmers, agricultural professionals, and researchers looking to enhance their understanding of innovative research and practical on-farm practices,” said Joseph Amsili, extension associate at the Cornell Soil Health Program.

“Through the field day series, we aim to equip attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to implement sustainable practices on their farms. It’s an opportunity to explore proven strategies, engage with experts, and gain practical insights that can lead to improved soil health and climate resilience,” said Debbie Aller, extension associate at the Cornell Soil Health Program.
