Visit the Hudson Valley Farm Hub on Aug 4, 2022 (rain date Aug 11) for a field day about organic no-till crop production targeted at field crop farmers in the region. Talks by researchers and growers will discuss cover and cash crops sequences, root disease, and weed management for organic no-till systems.
- Attendees will be able to visit a research trial that the Hudson Valley Farm Hub and Cornell University are conducting to develop diverse organic no-till crop sequences for the Northeast.
- Visitors will have a chance to view 16 combinations of cover crops and no-till planted cash crops.
- We will also show the Farm Hub’s no-till planter and inter-row mowing equipment.
Attendance is free, but space is limited, and registration is required.
