Soil Health Field Tours are an opportunity for farmers and growers to visit farms in northern Rensselaer and southern Washington Counties while learning about soil health practices that have been implemented by our local farmers.
Cornell researchers on the forefront of soil health and crop production and Cornell Cooperative Extension educators will be on site to answer questions and discuss anything that is related to soil health and crop production.
When: July 19th, 2023 1:00 PM through 4:45 PM
Location: Various farms in Rensselaer and Washington Counties, NY

Take a mid-summer break – get together with farmers and enjoy BBQ! Information from each tour site will be brought to the Liberty Ridge Farm in case you missed a site.

Cornell Small Farms Farm Ops
Scholarships are available through the Cornell Small Farms Program’s Farm Ops project for U.S. military veterans who reside in New York State. Veterans may request reimbursement for mileage, registration fees (email confirmation or receipt required), and receive a $100 stipend to offset additional costs.
